New York City |  ScholarshipsProspective students may apply to YIVO for tuition assistance. Scholarship awards are based on financial need and merit. In order to be considered for a scholarship, applicants must complete the separate scholarship application. As per the 2009 application guidelines, your complete application package should include: 1. General Application; 2. Official University Transcript; 3. One Letter of Recommendation, preferably confidential (from either a professor or language instructor or, if you are not a student, from someone who can speak to your language skills and ability); 4.
