Scholarships

Prospective students may apply to YIVO for tuition assistance. Scholarship awards are based on financial need and merit.

In order to be considered for a scholarship, applicants must complete the separate scholarship application.

In addition to this form, please send an official university transcript (necessary for students or those who have recently been students), and one letter of recommendation, preferably confidential (from either a professor or language instructor or, if you are not a student, from someone who will be able to support your request for funds) to the address below. All materials must be received by March 1, 2008. Award notifications will be sent April 1, 2008.
